
Happy New Year. It’s a new year, and like a lot of us do, let’s set a resolution. This resolution isn’t the same as your typical you find it hard to follow through. This is the year you create someone new. The average New Years’ resolutions are Diet, health, fitness, relationships, and income. Some spirituality, and unless you’re like me, adding another hour to my meditation practice. Before we set anything this year. Let’s figure out how to stick with our resolutions.

Make them a lifestyle…

Making your resolutions like you make your goals, A lifestyle. Lifestyles are like habits, hard to form but even harder to break. No matter what you choose. Seeing them as a lifestyle will allow you to stay with them. So how do you make it a lifestyle? You make it a habit. Habits are our life, and the moment you make one, you have changed your life. Well how do you create a habit, hopefully, you see where I’m going with this, you change your thoughts, coming back to the same idea, and you strengthen that thought with this repetition. Positive or negative. For those of you that know of/or how meditated. This will sound very familiar because it is the same.

Now you’re ready to set up your new year. Simple, is it not. As Occam’s Razor states, “Suppose there exist two explanations for an occurrence. In this case, the one that requires the smallest number of assumptions is usually correct.” So take this simplicity and create your greatness.
